Firstly, excellent house red! A seriously tasty vino. Food is excellent. Service is prompt and staff are very helpful. This place is un-assuming from the exterior but is among the best places I have eaten in Italy. Pizza’s are incredible & pasta dishes are rich in flavour and portioned perfectly. If we ever find ourselves back in Bormio, we’ll be back at Sunrise!

Wonderful food, atmosphere, and Host, Claudio! The food was so good, we ate there for lunch and two more dinners. The house wine was excellent and the house olive oil was a specialty. All our meals from pizza, to chicken curry, schnitzel, and steak were very flavorful and delicious! Highly recommend a reservation. SunRise was so good, patrons without a reservation waited over an hour for a table.

This place gave us the ultimate Italian vibe, and we absolutely loved it. We wanted to experience what - for us - felt like real good Italian food, but we hadn't found it yet. On our last do in Italy, we tried this place. The pasta carbonara, the gnocchi, and the two local dishes were amazing. The tastes and creaminess were perfect, and the dessert was really good as well. I'd highly recommend this place for some good Italian food . Prices were really reasonable as well.. quite cheap actually...

We ordered pizza and pasta, and both were delicious. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The only issue was that we didn’t have a reservation, so we were seated near the entrance where the sun was directly in our faces, which was a bit uncomfortable.

Fantastic everything! We went 6 nights in a row, and usually we like trying different places. But everything was so good here. Food, service and vibe were awesome. Owner shared his secret ragu recipe. Servers were amazing. We like true Italian food, and this place set a standard for us.

There was a bit of a line/wait on a Wednesday night, but it was worth it. Make reservations if you can. It was a very welcoming and warm restaurant, and you can tell the staff really work together and get along. The food was simple but so delicious, I ate everything and cleaned my plate, which I have not done in a long time. Thank you for an excellent meal.
